About Finn

Finn Ledger is an angler, hunter, naturalist and devoted keeper of records.

For much of his life he has been drawn to wild places, from windswept coastlines and quiet rivers to hidden lakes and forgotten corners of the countryside. Decades spent fishing, hunting, observing wildlife and learning traditional fieldcraft have given him a deep appreciation for the natural world and the knowledge that can only be gained through experience.

His journals were born from a simple observation: the sea remembers nothing, the river remembers nothing, and the years pass more quickly than we expect. The catches, conditions, lessons learned and moments that shape us are easily lost unless we take the time to record them.

Inspired by traditional ledgers, field journals and the enduring culture of outdoor pursuits, the Finn Ledger collection is designed to help anglers and outdoorsmen preserve both knowledge and memories for years to come.

When not writing, Finn spends his time fishing, exploring the countryside, observing wildlife and following the changing seasons that continue to inspire his work.

Because every adventure is worth remembering.

About Farah

Farah Blake is a writer and observer of the beautifully complicated business of being human.

She writes about love, loss, family, forgiveness, motherhood, ageing and the strange roads that lead us back to ourselves.

Her work is shaped by a lifetime of watching, questioning and experiencing – the relationships that change us, the heartbreaks that teach us, the people we cannot save, and the moments that quietly alter the direction of our lives.

Farah doesn’t write from a place of having all the answers. Quite the opposite.

She is fascinated by the questions.

Why are we here?
What are we meant to learn?
Why do certain people cross our path?
And when our journey is finally over, what will have truly mattered?

Her writing combines storytelling with quiet philosophy, exploring these questions with warmth, curiosity and, occasionally, a little mischief.

She believes wisdom isn’t found in avoiding life’s difficult chapters, but in understanding what they came to teach us.

And that sometimes the longest journey we ever make is the one back to ourselves.

Farah Blake writes for fellow travellers.
